Wind Farm

The wind farm owned by the group Plastika Kritis S.A. is located in Agios Ioannis, Vrouchas, in the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos, Crete. It includes 14 wind turbines with a total capacity of 12MW, complemented by 340KW photovoltaic stations — making it one of the most significant renewable energy infrastructure projects in the Lasithi region.

As the construction company in Agios Nikolaos Crete responsible for this project, our office at Zervos Consulting Engineers undertook all required building permits in Crete for the administration building, as well as the full supervision of construction works for the foundations of the first 7 wind turbines. The structural analysis and design of the foundations was carried out in collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens, Department of Civil Engineers — reflecting the scale and technical complexity that our building company in Crete is able to manage.
